'The Worms Theatre' is an installation by artist Juliette Ezaoui that takes us on a journey into a subterranean world. Immersed in the life of the soil's inhabitants, the work lets their interconnectivity emerge on the surface, using the playful medium of a theatre to reveal the networks that shape the materiality of the soil and, with it, our landscape.

Juliette constructed the installation's surrounding framework from timber fencing materials once used in the landscape itself. These structures form architectural spaces and portals where the intimacy of all these resonant connections can unfold.

TLWS designed the lighting and control system for the installation, creating an immersive environment that responds to the rhythms and textures of Juliette's structures · drawing out the relationships between light, material and the hidden world beneath our feet.
